| GAS STRUTS are springs commonly used in the machines, furniture, cars, office equipments, automation equipments and others. When the rod is compressed into the cylinder, it extends out when the compressive force is removed or reduced. A gas spring is filled with pure Nitrogen, which is an inert gas. | ||

When mounting or storing, the piston rod of the gas struts must point downwards. Make allowance for play in the joints, if there are vibration the fittings need to be tightened against loosening. Avoid tilting or twisting of piston rod. Avoid lateral forces. Protect the piston rod from dirt, paint or damage. Do not perform metal cutting on the gas spring. Use the gas spring only within the temperature range of -20° - 80°C Force tolerance +40N / -20N or ±5% of the nominal force, the actual force varies with the change of temperature, about ±3% for each 10°C change. |
